LOL, I saw one of those tv shows with the Gunny on it, and he had it where 2 bullet holes touched each other and he said that is what keyholing is. lol.

Ammo is Brown Bear 55gr FMJ. Barrel is 14.5 inch 1x9 non-cl DPMS lightweight barrel with perm vortex My initial thought was the ammo, but it shot just fine in my 1x7 10.5 inch LMT

Think you'll run into that real quick if you try a77 smk or a 75 amax. See if you can find someone with a bore scope and have them take a look.

If the grooves in the bore become heavily fouled you will be firing, in essence, a smoothbore.
