WebBoth for cifs and NFS. The only two solutions I have found are either disabling cache for those shares, or mounting cifs with 'vers=1.0' option. I've been struggling with stale file handles too. I've found the distribution on which a client VM or a container is based upon seems to influence whether stale file handles on NFS is a problem. WebExample: Raw df: '/mnt/netapp/.snapshot/hourly.2024-01-15_2200': Stale file handle Basically you cd into the .snapshot directory on the NAS mount and do something like a ls and the .snapshot directory automounts and doesn’t go away.
