The whole point of a shower is to watch the Mother to be (or Bride to be) open gifts and have quality time with them. I agree with @Cranang that you need to make sure you make a list of gifts at the shower BEFORE gifts are moved.

To specify how those gifts are presented just seems like micro-managing. Plus, some people really enjoy wrapping gifts.
