I have cartoid and vertebral FMD and, thankfully, have not had a problems, e.g., dissection. I saw a different FMD doctor at Mayo while my regular Dr. was on vacation. He said absolutely no deep tissue massage on my neck anywhere. WebJun 26, 2024 · Right now I am in the process of trying to figure out if it is my carotid FMD that causes my debilitating dizzy spells (more like brain fog/woozy—definitely not vertigo) or a possible sensitivity to foods with MSG or even hidden MSG.
