WebJun 18, 2024 · The centre’s existing electric vehicle charge locations see the highest level of usage across the whole of Greater Manchester’s Electric Vehicle Scheme (GMEV). Since they were launched back in 2013, the centre has seen over 30,000 on-site charging sessions with the number of charges increasing by over a third each year. WebThis set a benchmark on charging infrastructure to date and informed the future strategy. From there, key locations across the TfGM greater area were identified. The authority, in particular, wished to identify locations which would support the growth of the EV taxi market using funding awarded by Early Measures and OLEV’s taxi fund.
